Sacrament of reconciliation half-hour before Mass or any time by appointment
The Archdiocese together with Worldwide Marriage Encounter, are co-sponsoring a one day retreat for married couples. This will be held at St Joseph parish on Saturday June 13, 2026. This is a 7 hour experience that helps couples explore the divine dimension of their love and commitment to one another. Through guided reflections, personal stories and time to share as a couple, you’ll rediscover how God is present in your marriage. You will discover how your love reveals the presence of Christ in your everyday life. This is a wonderful opportunity to grow in your relationship and bring new life to your marriage. On behalf of the diocese, I’d like to encourage all married couples to attend this event. Go to the Archdiocese website to register. We also have information and posters on our parish website and in the bulletin. There will be someone at the back of the church after mass with save the date cards.

We must have a minimum of 40 couples to cover the cost of bringing in the presenters. What a great opportunity this is for all your married couples. We are proud to announce the date for the presbyteral ordination of Dcn. Thomas Wollis to the priesthood. The ordination will be held on Monday, May 25th, 2026, 7:30 pm at St. John the Baptist Cathedral in McLennan.
Let’s continue to offer our prayers for Deacon Thomas as he prepares for this pivotal milestone in his vocation.
