Celebrating Sunday Mass

Altar Servers & Acolytes

Altar serving is one of the oldest ministries in the Church. It is a great opportunity to grow closer to God and to serve in a very solemn manner at the Mass. This ministry helps to assist the priest throughout celebrations of the Eucharist and is for adults and children (10 and over). Please click on the link above to learn more!

Ministers of the Eucharist

Ministers of the Eucharist assist the clergy to serve Holy Communion to our brothers and sisters in Christ at Mass. It is important that those serving communion have prepared themselves spiritually and are in a state of Grace before participating in this most Holy action of the mass. Please click on the link to learn more!

Greeters

The greeters are the people that our parishioners and visitors first meet upon entering the Church. They are expected to arrive early to prepare themselves spiritually for mass before they begin welcoming parishioners. It is also important that they are in a state of Grace as they serve our Lord in his home.

Readers

A lector is the person who proclaims the first or second reading at Mass. This person may also read the Responsorial Psalm. It is important that those reading have taken time to prepare spiritually and ensure a state of Grace before reading the Word of God. Please click on the link to learn more!
